Reign of Winter
Alorah Sparrow left home at a young age to set out for an adventure bigger than life it self, which isn’t hard since she used to spend her days playing tag with giants and scurrying between their legs. Some days she would race with the bear cubs to see who could make it to the water faster to catch some fresh fish to take home to mother to cook for dinner. Other days she would swim with the river creatures, or soar through the skies with the birds. Other days she would be in the kitchen with her mom learning how to craft new toys or clothes for her 16 year old twin brothers. Her Father left them when she was only 25 leaving his wife and children behind. Someday she wonders how different life would be with him still around. Learning about nature and geography from her father instead of the forest animals that she considers her friends. She likes to spend time with her mother learning how to cast simple spells or sneaking off to her grandmothers house to learn how to mend her scraped knees with some healing. But late at night listening to the wild wolfs calling to the moon and stars she couldn’t help but think there was something more out there. So one morning after sending the boys off to do their chores she came to her mother in the kitchen and told her of her plans to leave home. Her mother was sad to see her go but knew this day would come one day. Her mother didn’t have much to offer except a necklace and some words of wisdom to send her on her journey. Unsure of why this necklace was of such importance she promised to never take it off. With a heavy heart and the stars in her eyes she packed up everything she could fit into her pack and set off to the unknown searching for the adventure she knew was awaiting her.
